Close racing, hold-your-breath moments, and even a photo finish – by the slimmest of margins – were the highlights on another action-packed Saturday night of racing at Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway. With the 2026 racing season rapidly winding down, four drivers seized one of the last opportunities of the season to park their vehicles in victory lane.

Bradley Brown wrapped up his second EVO Fuel Injection Winged 600 championship on Saturday night, but put a big cherry on top by bolting from sixth to first in just the first three laps to score the feature win. Chase Rodgers held off young gun Owen Steigerwalt to score his second Hyper Racing Wingless 600 win of the campaign. Billy Logeman went a perfect four-for-four on the night, sweeping both of his heat races before winning the Border Magic 270 and Yeti Fence Sportsman features in an outstanding effort. And with a final margin of victory of 0.001 seconds, Brandon Worthington edged out Seth Gregory to become a first-time winner in the Gretna Graphics 125/4 Stroke division.

EVO Fuel Injection Winged 600

Despite already locking up his second EVO Fuel Injection Winged 600 championship in the last three seasons at Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway, Ephrata’s Bradley Brown was entering Saturday night’s A-Main looking for a statement-making win to prove that he and the team had recaptured their dominant early-season form. What followed might have been Brown’s best performance of the season, as “The Highsider” used an outstanding first few laps to vault into the top spot and pocket his seventh win of 2026.

As winner of the most-recent points race at the speedway, Brown was forced to start from the sixth position in the feature, while Giancarlo Ramessar brought the field to the green flag.

But the All Coast Service No. 23 RTS Chassis made its charge to the front in the span of only about 30 seconds. Brown sliced and diced his way into third by the end of the opening lap, and then found great speed racing through the middle lane of the track. Brown blew past Charlie Allaband to claim second, and then raced tightly outside of Ramessar through turns 3 and 4 to edge out in front at the completion of the third circuit.

Brown was the dominant driver once reaching the clean air, and never surrendered control of the race after grabbing the top spot. Brown captured back-to-back points race victories with a margin of victory of just over one second at the final flag.

Jason Swavely had a nice climb from seventh on the grid and finished in the runner-up spot aboard Mike Rice’s No. 2x. Chris Panczner was the final car on the podium, while Allaband and Brian Kramer completed the top five.

Hyper Racing Wingless 600

Making another long haul from Old Orchard Beach, ME, Chase Rodgers took home his second checkered flag of the season from Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway, winning an exciting battle with Owen Steigerwalt despite a big close call late in the race.

Rodgers raced outside of his New England teammate Justin Burr from the outside of the front row and pulled ahead with the advantage at the conclusion of the second lap. As the top groove came in during the feature, Rodgers ripped around the guardrail and raced ahead of Steigerwalt as the Palmerton native moved into second.

Steigerwalt was only making his fourth-ever start at the speedway, but seemed to be well in contention for his first win. As the race saw several caution flags, Steigerwalt took a few of those opportunities to pull a slider down into turn 1. But Rodgers was able to race back around the outside each time, and held onto the top spot as the race finally settled into a green-flag run.

With still only a two-car length lead in hand, Rodgers had a scare on the backstretch with five laps to go, as he made contact with a lapped car while coming down the straightaway and lifted the entire right-rear corner of the racecar off the ground. Thankfully, Rodgers didn’t go for a tumble, but he did nearly lose the lead, as Steigerwalt took the chance to slide Rodgers on the entrance to turn 3. As Rodgers crossed him back over, the caution flag flew for the damaged lapped vehicle.

Although Rodgers and Steigerwalt were lined up nose-to-tail for a single-file restart, the driver of the No. 33 wasn’t able to keep Rodgers quite close enough to make a bid for the win over the final laps. Rodgers hit his marks and dashed to the finish line two car lengths ahead to tally the victory aboard his Littlefield Excavating No. 5 Hyper Chassis.

Behind Rodgers and Steigerwalt, Dominic Schmidt finished in the third position. That result was good enough for Schmidt to mathematically secure his second consecutive Hyper Racing Wingless 600 track championship with one race still remaining. Cole Perez finished in the fourth spot, with Cole Gerber earning fifth.

Results:

1. 5X-Chase Rodgers[2]; 2. 33-Owen Steigerwalt[4]; 3. 3-Dominic Schmidt[5]; 4. 17-Cole Perez[7]; 5. 14-Cole Gerber[6]; 6. 98-Matthew Warner[17]; 7. 2L-Luke Hess[12]; 8. 71-Brian Kramer[9]; 9. 81G-GianCarlo Ramessar[11]; 10. 707-Jax Wittmer[21]; 11. 32-Justin Burr[1]; 12. 12-Tucker Gordner[19]; 13. 1S-Will Simco[16]; 14. 34-Abel Engler[13]; 15. 12J-Jacob Homnick[24]; 16. 17X-Aubree Bane[20]; 17. 7R-Luke Repsik[22]; 18. 29SR-Brayden Benjamin[15]; 19. 99-Kaden Wenger[3]; 20. 11H-Holden Eckman[8]; 21. 4-Kiptyn Stratton[18]; 22. 99G-Gordon Greenlaw[10]; 23. 1F-James Fries[23]; 24. 24-Cooper Fegely[14]; 25. Border Magic 270

After one victory and plenty of other close calls throughout the year, Billy Logeman seemed due for another win in the Border Magic 270s on Saturday night. Luck was finally on the Reinholds driver’s side, as Logeman inherited the lead with 11 laps to go and raced away to score the win aboard the Mike Rutherford-owned Titan Wings No. 27o RTS Chassis.

It looked for a while like it would be Austin Graby’s night to shine, as Graby took the lead from Rutherford on the opening lap and set the early-race pace. Logeman narrowly avoided a spin by third-place Chase Walker on a lap 4 restart, and then used the next restart to motor past Rutherford and into the runner-up position.

Still, Graby led the way and looked poised to capture a 270 triumph at the speedway. Unfortunately, his No. 77G would break from the lead on the 15th lap, and that opened the door for Logeman to move into clean air.

The job still wasn’t finished, as Logeman had to fend off a late-race blitz from the track champion Nick Skias – who had started the race in 14th. But Logeman was able to keep command all the way to the finish and took the checkers five car lengths ahead of the rest of the pack.

Skias finished in second, and Austin Mieczkowski made a similar charge from 12th to complete the podium. Rutherford finished fourth, and Walker rebounded from his early spin to round out the top five. The Border Magic Hard Charger Bonus belonged to Tommy Rinck, as he advanced 14 positions from 22nd to eighth at the finish.

Results:

1. 27O-Billy Logeman[5]; 2. 3-Nick Skias[14]; 3. 39M-Austin Mieczkowski[12]; 4. 27T-Michael Rutherford[1]; 5. 96W-Chase Walker[3]; 6. 1L-Logan Hess[8]; 7. 5-Bret Cronrath[17]; 8. 11R-Tommy Rinck[22]; 9. 92-Jason Swavely[10]; 10. 6-Danial Boyer[13]; 11. 29-Steve Simmons[7]; 12. 22-Clinton Hauser[20]; 13. 34-Christi Sweigart[9]; 14. 32-Michael Hoffmaster[4]; 15. 08G-Brandon Gibble[19]; 16. 47X-Ernie Newmaster III[16]; 17. 20S-Pat Bealer[21]; 18. 23K-Matt Fernsler[15]; 19. 77G-Austin Graby[2]; 20. 81-Dylan Holmes[11]; 21. 41-Mike Boyer[6]; 22. 2T-Doug Pearson[24]; 23. 28S-Brian Sholley[18]; 24. 94-Dallas Sanders[23]

Yeti Fence Sportsman

Directly after his Border Magic 270 victory, Billy Logeman hopped aboard his Weinhold’s Poultry No. 97 RTS Chassis looking to complete a sweep of the evening. After winning the 270 feature in addition to both of his heat races, Logeman put the finishing touches on a perfect night by leading all 25 laps of the Yeti Fence Sportsman main event.

Logeman was the class of the field all night and chalked up a dominant win in the feature. At one point, Logeman’s lead was roughly three seconds, and at the finish, Logeman took the checkers with a margin of victory of just over one and a half seconds to secure his fourth Sportsman win of the season.

The other big story that took place behind Logeman was the championship battle that continued to be contested between Brandon Heist and Bret Cronrath. Heist entered the feature with a 14-point lead on Cronrath, but an issue in the heat race left Heist starting 11th in the A-Main, while Cronrath rolled off fifth.

The two title contenders crossed paths on a restart just prior to the halfway point, as Cronrath occupied the third spot while Heist had raced up to fourth. Using the upper groove of the track, Heist slingshotted past Cronrath with 10 laps to go, and would eventually pick off Masen Stapleton as well to finish in the second position.

Stapleton held on to complete the podium, while Cronrath finished fourth and Dave Ravel rounded out the top five. Heist opened up his points lead to 24 entering the season finale, and will need a finish of fifth or better in the final race to ensure his second Sportsman track championship.

Results:

1. 97-Billy Logeman[1]; 2. 99-Brandon Heist Sr[11]; 3. 17-Masen Stapleton[3]; 4. 5-Bret Cronrath[5]; 5. 21V-David Ravel[6]; 6. 26-Corey Schmuck Jr[7]; 7. 23K-Matt Fernsler[2]; 8. 77-Michael Kreiser[4]; 9. 11H-Chason Hauck[9]; 10. 31-Tyler Martin[8]; 11. 31M-Noah Merkey[12]; 12. 21D-Dave Williams[10]; 13. 2T-Doug Pearson[13]

Gretna Graphics 125/4 Stroke

In a finish that could’ve read directly like a movie script, Ephrata’s Brandon Worthington scored his first-career win on Saturday night at Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway, edging out Seth Gregory by just 0.001 seconds at the finish line to secure the win of the Gretna Graphics 125/4 Stroke A-Main.

Worthington started on the pole for the race and had a fast car, keeping championship challenger Trevor Waegel and eventually Gregory at bay. The race only saw one caution flag and featured a 17-lap green-flag run to the finish, ensuring that Worthington would have to remain perfect to score his maiden triumph.

With seven laps to go, Gregory raced inside of Waegel to take away second, and as Worthington raced amongst lapped traffic, the driver of the No. 14 began sizing up the leader in an effort to get his fourth win of the season.

Gregory was unable to find a way past, and at the white flag, the top three cars were all nose-to-tail. Waegel dove inside of Gregory into turn 1 and the two drivers touched, giving Worthington some breathing room as he raced down into turn 3. But as Worthington slid a bit wide coming out of the final turn, Gregory powered to the inside and made it a drag race to the finish line.

In a near-dead heat across the finish line, electronic timing and scoring showed Worthington ahead of Gregory by just 0.001 seconds, allowing the former track photographer turned racer to park his White Rose Safety No. 4w Viper Chassis in the winner’s circle for the very first time.

Trevor Wageel finished out the podium in third, with Dave Schroeder and Gary Waegel making up the rest of the top five. Points leader Justin Harrington had an eventful night, but salvaged an eighth-place finish to keep his championship lead at 94 entering the final race. As long as Harrington shows up and attempts to compete in the season finale, the Manheim driver will secure his third track championship in the 125/4 Stroke class.

Results:

1. 4W-Brandon Worthington[1]; 2. 14-Seth Gregory[4]; 3. 44S-Trevor Waegel[2]; 4.
